Lawyer Valeria Dimitrova-Filipova

Valeriya Dimitrova-Filipova has been part of the firm since its very beginning and is the firm’s key contact for matters involving Bulgarian law. As an Advokat admitted to practise in Bulgaria and a member of the Munich Bar Association, she combines a deep command of both legal systems with a clear understanding of cross-border legal issues.

Her practice within the firm focuses in particular on German and Bulgarian family law. She advises and represents clients in international family law matters with careful legal judgement, clear and precise communication, and a particular understanding of the personal significance these proceedings can have for those involved.

She completed her legal studies at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski. She gained practical legal experience in Sofia and Vidin, Bulgaria, before beginning her work in Munich. Her personal and professional roots in both countries continue to shape her work and enable her to play a key role in matters involving both German and Bulgarian law.
